Military Service Left college following an emergency appendectomy and then forced to join the service in March 1965. Formed my own company in 1977 branching out to 18 locations in 4 states. Business purchased in 1998 by WSO:NYSE. Retired 1999. What special interests and/or activities have you enjoyed during the last half century? Family, cycling, travel, public service, wine and spirits, boating, sports cars, bridge, genealogy, cooking and love working on my tractor at our other home in the Ozarks. Please share the highlights of the places you've lived or traveled (1) Lived: Texas living for almost 30 years was great and now enjoying Arkansas, which became my home when I moved to help raise my granddaughter. (2) Traveled: Traveling is a passion and we are still planning more trips as often as feasible. What is your favorite AHS Memory? Annual signing parties were always fun. Worst Memory? Trying to figure out growing up! What are your favorite books? The Source, Rain of Gold and The Fountainhead How do you spend your quality time? With family or friends, cycling, traveling, playing bridge or relaxing on the Little Red River, AR. What matters most to you about the life you've lived? That we are still enjoying it.
