How have you gained knowledge or continued your education after high school? BS in Business Administration, National University in San Diego What would like to share about your life's work? My professional career has focused on Commercial Real Estate, specializing in hotel properties. My career enabled me to travel throughout the United States. What special interests and/or activities have you enjoyed during the last half century? I enjoy yoga, pilates, skiing and scuba diving. I love animal and have two dogs, a cat and a koi pond. My husband and I also help sponsor two orphaned elephants through the David Sheldrick Trust in Kenya, http//www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/asp/monthly.asp?o=KANJORO&month=Jul. Please share the highlights of the places you've lived or traveled My professional life allowed me to travel extensively throughout the United States. I lived temporarily in Miami, Florida, Cleveland, Ohio and Dallas, Texas. Personally, my husband and I have been fortunate to have travelled throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, Kenya, Peru, Ecuador, Australia and Tahiti. What is your favorite AHS Memory? Friday night football games, the dances at the Y and cruising Bob’s Big Boy on Colorado Boulevard. What are your favorite books or movies? Favorite movies are “Giant” and “Gone with the Wind.” Favorite books, “Water for Elephants” and “The Art of Racing in the Rain.” What were your favorite songs or artists from 1960 to 1964. What genre of music and type of dance do you enjoy most? Favorites for 1960 through 1964, The Beach Boys and the Beatles. I still love the Beach Boys and Beatles, but listen to classic rock and mellow jazz (The Wave). How do you spend your quality time? I try and spend time with family, friends and my dogs. In your life thus far, what stands out as most significant, growth-producing, moving, or heart-opening? I have enjoyed every aspect of my journey so far. Significant moments have been my wedding, the birth of my child and grandchildren and the experience of seeing different parts of the world. What matters most to you about the life you've lived? What has always matter most to me is my family, friends and my animals. As you move forward into the future, what are your aspirations, hopes, dreams? In the future I hope I can continue to be healthy, live life to the fullest and enjoy more of the same. I have no regrets. What do you still hope to accomplish or experience?
