We have lived in Scottsdale most of that time and have the great fortune to have several acres in the Sonoran desert to call home. My daughter, Billie Jean, lives in San Diego and my grandson is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. The mountains and canyons in the area provide many miles for me to hike while Nevada has spent many hours for Southwest Wildlife aiding the rescue and return to the wild the likes of mountain lions, bob cats, and bears – oh my. May the Moors we have lost rest in peace and may the rest of us live in peace. |
